I've bought a few things from there, they were fine, no problems.
Koz Total Relative noob Logo 400, TRex 450SEv2, Blade 400, mSR, mCX, HK450(build), DX7, Phoenix Simstick ..... AXN Clouds Fly, Night Vapor, HC Mosquito
I've found a way to halt reckless heli spending ... Go Broke.
I have used them several times & they have always been good on price, very easy to deal with & always been quick to arrive.Cant say or ask for more really.
I can echo Eddie, Al's in Mk is about 1/2 a mile from my front door. I would rather crawl over broken glass to Barnsley or Hinckley than go into their poxy shop. Unhelpful, staffed by idiots, never got anything in stock, no offers to get what you need. I'll stop now I can feel the temp of my blood rising

The staff at the Bristol branch are too stupid to be let out by themselves.
Had no problem with the mail order service (which works out of the main branch).
Not heli-orientated, no clue really. I might use them for glue or the odd lipo, servo or receiver as the prices are generally ok.
Stick with trusted heli stores for most things.
The owner is an arrogant, loudmouth bully so it's no wonder the staff are less than shining examples - the ones he's got are the only ones who'll work for him, I suspect.
I recall being at a large scale flying show at Wroughton a few years ago where Al's HObbies had a huge stand. It rained in epic fashion during the afternoon and Al's were selling off wet radio equipment at discounted prices. I didn't buy any.
