Compared to back then we are have it easy now.

Well, I was always chasing one thing or another on mine, especially in the beginning, with bits wearing alarmingly quick, such as the ball links, or the engine (irvine 36) refusing to run, should have gone for an OS.....

The main problem though was the LMS was absolutely abysmal at getting spares, some times it took months to get parts, if they even bothered to order them (a lot of the time they'd just pretend to order them) and this was before all the shops started using the internet, so not a lot of choice.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

My SRX had an irvine in it.....soon swapped it for an os 32.....Damn that irvine used to run hot.....and the main needle was always coming loose.

My first heli was a Kyosho Concept 30, wooden blades, mechanical gyro and very little negative pitch, great fun. I only paid £90 for it.

              knock knock...
