Forum going slow

For me it is those incredibly annoying skimword ads that slow things up.

There is a noticable hitch at the end of each page load when there is a call to the skim server.

I'm close to the edge of my tolerance now and I do object most strongly to having links inserted in my post that I did not put there. These ads give the impression that the poster is reccomending them when nothing could be further from the truth.

If things don't improve soon I'm going to be heading for the ad and script blocking route as well which is a real shame.

I'm nearly done in the newer version only a little bit longer - trying to make sure all the .css is working as it should be and trying to make sure also there are less to load across the whole.
