Well,
Today I went to collect my replacement vBar sensor from midland heli's and exchange some bearing blocks I had got in error, As I pretty much thought I had been replaced with the new "Blueline" sensor.. Mikado and Midland Heli's service is second to none and a real pleasure, always have a good chat with Mat
,
So, I had some slop in the head of my Trex 600, was quite bad with 0.5 degree slop on the blade grips. So I got my self a Quick UK Swashplate (Thanks Craig33) and some silver bearing blocks as i also had some side to side play on the mainshaft, Installed them both and wow..
The swashplate makes a huge difference.. totally slop free! well, probably 0.001 on the plastic bell cranks but what a difference.. Should make setting up the blade pitch a tad easier. But then i noticed the muffler was touching the bottom plate DOH!, So that was probably causing my vibration problems on the vbar.. So took the bottom plate off and sanded down a section to clear the muffler
Depending on how i feel i will install the vbar later, or tommrow. Will make a post on how it goes and the performance of the flight at the weekend.
Regards
Callum
