    Downloading updates for Phoenix Sim

    Hi Guys,
    Wonder if anyone can help. I've just attempted to download new helis and scenerys from the main Phoenix site for my Sim, it downloads OK but everytime I try and us that particular heli or Scenery I get a Serious Error message saying :
    Serious Error
    Simscriptmanager::Executefile-Error running script:Raptor50_sport.fly

    and immediately after I get this

    Serious Error
    getString-invalidvalue

    With an "OK" Button.

    What OS are you running? If you're using Vista then you need to set yourself up to run the program as the administrator.
    I've forgotten exactly how to do this as I'm running XP from home. However, that is what I had to do to run Phoenix at the folks house problem free, and without those errors you mention.

      Don't you right clikc the shortcut to the program file, and select, 'Run as Administrator' ?

        Thats how you do it on XP, can't remember if thats the case for Vista...

        You're right, I've just tried it now on the missus' laptop, which runs Vista

              Right click on the Phoenix icon and select on the menu that comes up. Run as Administrator.

                I'm still having problems with downloading new scenery, aircraft e.t.c I've tried everything to no avail. Any help appreciated.

                  what version are you running, because am i right in saying that the latest version will have all the latest scenary added to it.

                    Might just depend on what spyware spamware software you are running i shortcut mine and hold the control key down on the keyboard whilst clicking to download.
                    Helis:
