  • Can you use metal sheilded bearings ?

    Can metal sheilded bearings be used for a rear bearing on an os50? . will they cause lubrication problems.

        Yeah thought as much ,Paul how easy are they to pick out ? , and why are sheilded bearings cheaper than open ones:/

          Easy enough, doesnt take long at all.

          Unsure tbh, never really looked. Going to try the ones from RCBearings next thought @ £2

            Yeah thats where im looking but there out of stock on open bearing hence the question

                Sorted 4 fronts 4 rears £14 to the front door , can't go wrong . Although i wonder how long they last ?. How many people have used rcbearings.co.uk ?

                    You shouldnt need to replace the front bearing, just the rear
