I couldn't wait to fly my CP Pro until I had practiced on the Pheonix sim, so after a couple of indoor near takeoffs I took it to work with me last Saturday to try it out in the car park. All I wanted was to get it off the ground a couple of feet and try to trim it ( I spent hours setting it up so everything was right) but my ageing fingers weren't nimble enough so I just managed a crash landing 2 feet from a wall.Twice! Broken landing gear and rotors Consequently the Pheonix sim is now on its way to me and also a blade cx3 courtesy of a nice man on e-bay who was selling both. Result !! With a bit of luck and a lot of computer time I should be flying by spring ...2012.
