  • Damn this weather

Damn this weather! I've just gotten my first flights in with my Rappy a few weeks ago and have been aching to get some more real-world stick-time in. Its been nothing but rain..wind...rain...wind since then! I've worn out the Phoenix interface cable out of pure frustration.

So what do you folks do when you cannot fly?

At least when I flew planks, I could build another airframe for very little cost
I've got a perfect flying record - I've not left one up there yet!

I'm sort of glad that the weather is pants at the moment.....

I've got my final uni exam (Ever!) coming up at the end of next week, so the rain is keeping me indoors revising, which is not a bad thing.

Roll on 26th May when it's all finished and I can get my new Vibe! Roll on the sun.

            Oh Happy Days.

beat me too it, no rain just blowin a hooley.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

                    And a DX8 too

I saw the 600N fly today at the Clubman 3DX. Ade Law put it through its paces. My goodness, I was impressed, both by the pilot and the craft. But, to be fair, I'm too new at this to have a credible perspective.

Interesting thing about the spread of models at the event: of the 50-sized models, about 40% of the helis flown were 600E's, about 3 or 4 were Raptors, two were Knights and I think there were 2 or 3 600N's. Align really did have the lions share of the market!

Thanks to LHC for hosting what was a fantastic event.
