A Great Weekend

Well, I took the afternoon off work Friday and had a couple of hours with Darren from Rapid Rotors, really enjoyed myself. have now been able to complete some fairly scruffy backwards circuits, but hey they were complete
Flew with young Jamie Porter on Saturday and again practiced some more, and flew again today.
over 10ltrs Optifuel 20 burnt this weekend and a grin from ear to ear
This is a great hobby
And to finish off, I let Darren hover the 700 as well

Glad you had a good day mate, sorry I wasn't able to join you. I'm still felling a bit rough but did pop up last thing this afternoon and had a quick hover with Tom but I only hung around for ten mins or so

The backwards circuits were lookin good yesterday so I'm guessing today they were backwards while inverted

As for Darren, He really does impress me every time I see him fly, He spanked his T-Rex 700 to the limit the same weekend.

Also most important of all he was looking fantastic after his recent illness.

Glad to hear. I flew about 4 tanks this weekend which is actually double the usual amount (Lame I know!). I had a blast though, getting my vision 50 comp beastx dialled in nicely.

But more importantly I enjoy myself, I guess like everyone when you have a good couple of days it gives you the incentive to push yourself a little more.
