I don't get it. Why hold the damn thing in a wetter and windier country than the UK. I'm confused. To say there are no suitable flying sites in the UK is b######s. I've worked in the Netherlands countless times and the squalls that come in off the North Sea are completely unpredictable. The bloke is a plank (Barrow Boy that is)

Venlo is an excellent venue.
Made the spain event the year before look

guys i think the venlo flying club was superb,and the club members the were really nice guys i spent a few hours chatting to them on the friday night and they were nice guys/girls,Spain wasnt even a fraction as good

I say further from the UK the better. jeff is trying to be the bernie ecclestone of helicopters.

3dmasters started out on the right track but lost its way as soon as Jeff realised he could do it once a year and live off the proceeds he got greedy, it turned from a thing to promote the hobby into something to bleed it dry. Then to top it off some of the things I have witnessed the guy do you would expect from the local drug lord!

never seen a guy throw his weight around quite like he does. Good riddance I say.

if you want to see some great flying with its heart truly in the right place then support events like 3dchamps.

I'm looking forward to it.
What I've seen is that the local guys from the club were working pretty darn hard to make it happen. I'm glad that they have the will to do it again and the authorities didn't prevent it (it's a natural reserve, apparently the bureaucrats weren't easy to deal with. But, the place -is- beautiful).

If you allow international entries to 3dchamps, I may be interested, if my new job allows and I learn to drive on the "right" side of the road
