  • forgetting the expense...

when you buy your first heli you think long and hard about which is the best deal, shop arround, compare the different brands - rule out one becuase its a few quid more than another...
Then when you crash you get on on the blower/PC and spend £150 without thinking, and spend extra just to get the parts NOW, and get some bling as well because you "might as well save on the postage"

I'll be stealing car radios soon...

I plan to pay for my Trex600N with the £100 I get for my 401/9254, £120 form my Barcleys and £124 from the Halifax. Like you said spread it out so it does not hurt as much.

          More like "ignoring the expense"

Went into a shop & saw a yellow Bell 47G (Century). Made up, flying as a demo machine.

Walked out of the shop, all brave, level head firmly attached to shoulders, but drove home 13 miles knowing all the way that I would be driving back later in the day when I had phoned up to book it.

Saw it fly....beautiful Had to have it.

Dumb or what? But as my wife says, I go to work, earn the money & have to have the odd indulgence.

          But still feeling guilty..............

          wearing off rapidly though
          Happy Landings.
