  • Help Required on Project

I've started a little project for my Raptor 30 and I need a favour from anyone with a set of precision calipers.

I need to know the exact diameter of the outer casing on the main gear bearing part no. BV0033

    Can anyone help ?
    Cheers

    Hi Stuart,

I have measured the outer sleeve with a standard ruler for now (I lent out my calipers which are being returned this afternoon) at 26mm.

I will comfirm that more accurately when I have my calipers.

    Cheers,

    Pete.

He no longer has the 30 anymore so it's a suspended project.

I was going to make a auto hub for the Raptor 30 far better than the factory version. I found a company down south that was able to build the pulley out of alloy and after ages of searching managed to find the right sprag bearing to fit the job then it was just a matter of building a CAD drawing for an alloy block to bring it all together for which I have Rhino CAD software.

However, with the sale of the R30 I put it on the shelf. I've got guy's asking for my Delrin upgrade for the Milli and I'm going to get made up a set of helical gears for it next month.
            Cheers
