  • Cheapest Tx for Phoenix?

    Hi - can anyone recommend THE CHEAPEST transmitter that will work with Phoenix? I'm thinking of getting my father in law a sim for xmas to play with since he's getting into his co-axial heli (that he's crashed a hundred times) a lot.

    You will probably be able to pick up a used E Flite LP5DSM tx pretty cheap and they work well with Phoenix

      contact your nearest model shop sometimes the sell on the cx3 without the tx if they have no bnf packages. its an LP5DSM ideal for what you want

          I would recommend a DX5e, whilst not quite the cheapest it's a good quality and reasonably useful TX for the price, might even be able to pick it up as a package with Phoenix (can in USA).

                  Yep, It uses the standard dongle lead and connector supplied with Phoenix.

                        Spektrum/JR is mono audio jack (one with Phoenix as said). I think there are two different types of Futaba adapter, and as far as I'm aware they all need them.
