Checkout at Hobbyking

When checking out on the hobbyking website what should I put, I have read most peeps put replacement parts or toyparts and some put 10% or 20% value but what about the gift/other option which should I choose?

Also what is the best choice of delivery either the 4-7 days or the other option which just says express courier?

All the parts I need are in stock at the de warehouse

I use the highest % that keeps the value below the customs limit (£18?). I tote purchases as "toy parts" and don't use "Gift". I can't comment on the express courier, but when buying from Hong Kong with normal shipping I would simlpy advise buying well in advance - these things don't seem to travel very quickly. Two weeks is about the norm in my experience.

You can put the full price if its coming from Germany you don't pay any taxes as it's coming from within Europe the tax has already been paid

I pay 30% of value, but there is no tax within the EU ! Shipping is 4-7 days usually here in 2. I brought 4 lipos last week and they are already in transit with tracking No info should be here on Thursday !

Thanks all, so I can just order them and put toy parts with value at the same cost of the items, so it does not matter if it says gift or other as I have to choose one.

All these options (e.g gift, quoting cost as a percentage of the actual cost etc) are all just blags in an attempt to avoid paying import duty. However if it is coming from the EU i.e. the DE warehouse there is no need to do this as you will not get any extra charges.

Bearing this in mind, make the selections that represent what you are ordering as accurately as possible - That way if the parcel gets lost in transit, damaged etc then if you have to claim on insurance you are more likely to be refunded the full amount that you originally paid (on second thoughts perhaps you should quote cost as 150% of original value lol)

Ok I will order them today and put the value at the price of the parts and I would imagine that even though I do not see our helli's/aircraft as toys, this seems to be what they are classed as so I will choose either the toy or the replacement parts option.
