Should a speed controller gone up in smoke...

...just because I plugged the motor wires in the wrong way round?

This is or was a Ripmax Dragon X 45A controller and the motor an Overlander 400BM.

The colours of the wires for the speed controller are all the same, so presumably it wouldn't matter.

shouldn't make any difference exept for the motor running backwards

Will make no difference to the ESC at all

SWRCH , Oh.. And a Helix 700 Gasser, Hv with SK540.....with SAB HPS head.
