The only thing Tom I think he can referring to is how hard parts were to get around 18 months ago. When I had mine, nit that I needed any I regularly saw posts saying can't get this or that, come to think of it, it's how I first started talking to Shaun. He could not get any main bearing blocks so I sent one of mine

But that from what I can see now and speaking to the lads at midlands it is just a distant memory.

All the parts or the vast majority appear to be in stock and before the release of the e model so this is a good sign that Avant have worked hard to get that situation turned around to where it is now.

Yes aurora's are scarce but i think that will turn around now, but what do I know

I was crashing mine 18 months ago and I never had an issue with getting parts. If Midlands/Fast Lad/Revolution/Real Raptors were out of stock, Avant would organise replacements, hence my post stating that the backup was not only there, but it was there well.

Never had a issue getting parts. Only decked min 3 times in 15 months and I was always able to get parts. And now the parts are alot cheaper it makes more sence.
This will not be a nice day only heli. It will be flown in all weathers regardless just like my 700 is now.

Not saying the ElyQ doesnt have good back up as I am sure it does with Climbout/Evo behind owners.

I really dont know where this perception of bad backup comes from??? The Avant/Midlands backup is second to none

Well when ElyQ they had a problem with the links on the vision comp, they redesigned them and then gave them out free to owners of vision comps and also when i had my tail rotor brake in flight climbout gave me all the parts i needed to get her back in the air for nothing bec they wanted to surport the products.
Now iv been doing model helis now for about 16yrs and iv never had any back up from any company or shop, so the back up has been great il be happy to point people in the direction of elyQ bec of this and there models fly great one happy owner here thank you

But tbh i do think the Avant models are good its just my preference i like the ElyQ models

Thats only your experience with it when I got my vision ultimate v1 my links were shoddy too I got zero support from anyone over it as did 3 other people I know. within a week they dropped the price of the kit due to all the negative publicity so I couldnt even get decent money back on it. I nigh on had to give it away for nothing, oh how two peoples experiences in life differ.

Avant give excellent support. When mark lanes had a failure that was due to a faulty part both midland and Avant were superb and sorted out all the parts for mark

Even though mine was second hand I got new main gears foc for it from Midlands as apparently there was an issue with them.

But I'm sure there are people out there that have had issues with all manufacturers while others have good experiences with them as Martin has clearly pointed out.

It's just that 99% of people shout when they have a bad experience but most dont when they have a good one

But asid then got everything sorted out with climb out who I believe gave him a whole new kit despite not knowing the history of the model! Id say that's pretty good customer service
