I hate it when the terms 'normal mode' & 'idle up' are used as if they have a specific meaning.

Perhaps that's the problem...

Only been flying for 2.5yrs, but I thought 'normal mode' & 'IU1 mode' were specific & had specific funtions & applications. Maybe I'm missing something here!

How people choose to set-up norm and idle-up (if they choose to at all) is purely a matter of personal choice, or necessity driven by their configuration.

To suggest there's only one way of doing it, and/or everyone does it the same, makes no sense.

So how can someone tell what someone mean by normal and idle-up - unless they specify ?

Had this happen to my 450,was hovering fine in iu,done a flip then noticedthe head had a bad wobble.luckily managed to land ok before any more damage was done.couldnt believe how bent the shaft was.I just put it down to cheep ebay shafts.

Think this might be the route cause actually, two shafts were form different brands but neither were top grade so maybe you get what you pay for!
