I have been wondering about putting a clear coat over stickers. I recently got a canopy that had been painted one colour all over and I added some stickers using sign vinyl.
I don't think a clear coat was ever applied so I'd like to coat the whole thing now but need to be sure it won't damage the stickers.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

I allways clearcote over my stickers using 2 pack (laquer & a hardener) car paint, I never have problems with overpainting stickers as long as the first 2 cotes are nothing more than a dust cote(this will look quite dull), left to go dry (about 10 mins), this stops any reactions. my 3rd coat is light and the 4th quite heavy. Hope this helps.
