Yep think I fell in love with my Gorilla Landing Gear today
Had flown a few batteries and was chatting to Ray about types of manoeuvres and our inability to perform most of them when due to too much chatting rather than watching I managed to do a back flip death dive but not pull up quite in time
My 500 made contact at the bottom of the dive just as it was about to pull back up, the grass was pretty long so I hoped it wouldn't be too bad!
When I picked up the heli the only damage was that infamous front T/T gear everything else was fine despite my being in a flat 100% curve at time of impact!
The bit that really impressed me though was the Gorilla Gear it had splayed out like Bambi on the ice and there was mud & grass caked all over the underside but nothing broken
Twenty minutes on the operating table and it was back in the air, just as it got dark - Damn
Got to hand it to them designers, nothing should have survived that prang least of all the landing gear so here's to you in the Gorilla Factory - Cheers
