Cheesium strikes again.

I got my nice new dial Gauge Set this morning.

Chronos Ltd Dial Gauges , Dial Indicators & Magnetic Bases

Boom arm clamp strips a thread first go.
Cheap as chips I know but the gauge looks sweet enough.

Thats unfortunate.. I got something simular (around £35) from elsewhere but the threads on the arm are huge.. dont know how it would have stripped.

Likely cross-threaded during assembly.
The metal used is soft so easily stripped

Chronos are replacing the stripped parts, no quibble, so good for them.

Well Chronos sent me a whole new arm not just replaced the stripped bits.
Good on 'em.
Worth a recommendation.

Good prices too.

I got a neat mini tap & die set from them 1mm to 2.5mm
