thanks for all replies guys, I think my op came out a bit wrong, I am by no means skint, just the wife is tight!!!! and if I want to keep her onside so I can still have my heli's, I unfortunately have to listen to some off what she says lol, If I crash a bigger heli, I can repair it, thats not the problem, just wondered what your guys thoughts were, it was purely for the "its another toy to put on my heli" thing, and was looking at getting a better gyro anyway, so thought FBL is the new thing, so worth spending the extra on??

Then I think save your money mate. You'll not gain anything in my opinion from going fbl. It is your money though. If you want to go a bit bigger how about looking at 2nd hand machines. Flybarless is difficult to get right, the feel of it etc unless you can exercise the heli in order to do it.

I'd save my pennies for a bigger heli, more fuel/batteries etc
