Os 50 hyper piston help

I have an OS 50 hyper piston and the location pin which stops the ring from rotating seems to have been pushed in flush and does not protrude anymore. Is there anyway this can be repaired or do I need to buy a new piston?

Dont try running it like that - the ring comes out through the exhaust port which is nasty.

Cheers I wont. I cannot figure out how its happened as if I had assembled it wrongly I would have thought the ring would have broken straight away?
