today at the field dodging the rain
inferno (tom) took to the Sky's with his 400
and about after flying for 1 minute the heli just exploded in mid air
after looking at the damage it looks like the blade roots let go on the woodies and this is the damaged heli were she landed
im sure tom will post a list of broken heli parts
    cheers

Yeah kit came from fast lads with wood blades... I didn't know u should epoxy them, instructions didn't mention it!

            Ouch!! Not a pretty sight.

And not one I want to get used too
Looks like the frame took the worst of it.

Main shaft looks straight in the pics.
Maybe the frame giving way might have saved your bearings?

Wooden blades on a logo! that like putting hub caps on a ferrari.

Cant believe Mikado would be so cheap

              very unlucky on the crash

looking at where the blades broke epoxying them wouldnt have helped as they broke outside of the reinforcement.

woodies i have flown in the past have only been rated for 1700ish rpm.....

Ouch. That puts me right off the mikado's, look how weak that frame is. Sure, it saved your main shaft but I know what I'd rather replace!

Shame dude, hope you get it in the air soon.

The frame was weakened when I chopped tabs out to fit screwdrivers in to put servos on, next time servos will be fitted before frames bolted together!!
