  • Deans plugs

Bought two new batt's but they came fitted with XT60 plugs. Where's my best place to buy a couple of Deans bearing in mind they'd be mail order as I don't have a LHS?

Have you thought about changing to XT60?

I did, and think they are a better plug, easier to solder and easier to connect.

I am thinking about changing over, as deans are a pain in the rear sometimes to undo. Will look at prices for xt60's, just wanted to avoid doing 5 solder jobs when I could do 2, but it probably makes sense.

            Thanks for the replies.

I know, I dread to think of the consequences of pulling the solder joints off and the leads shorting!

I found soldering the XT60's so easy I actually look forward to getting new batteries without XT 60 just so I can change them over, sad I know but therapeutic.
