Never had a problem with Phoenix yet that I can think of, it's British and realflight is just too expensive for me

Never had a problem running phoenix never had much trouble during the beta testing either,
I would imagine that phoenix has payed for its self many times over now in crash parts saved, Maybe im just one of the flock

Could you justify your "out of date" comment? It works great for me, and has helped me endlessly. Can't see the want or need to change away from Phoenix tbh.

Realflight being "up to date" with it's total lack of any actual real helis that you can buy within it and the community having to make them all itself. Then there's the cost, paid for upgrades, non british.
Hmmm let me see, think I'll stick with Phoenix thanks.
I think you will find yourself in a very small minority with the "real flight is better" comment.

Should be good to see what Phoenix Beta is like.

But, I have been using RealFlight G4.5 these past few weeks,

Yes, there is a lack of Helicopters, But, RealFlight in terms of how things react is just better, Phoenix is perfect, No Bogging, No Interactions etc, Auto with ease.

RealFlight simulates bogging, the heli wobbles on hard stops, etc, Autos are a more realistic, and, it simulates interaction, Some heli's do not flip straight.

With Phoenix you can put the model tail down, bang the collective one way and then another and the heli will simply just change direction with ease, RealFlight banging the stick one way, then coming to the stop the heli will delay and shake a tad.

Also, RealFlight is a lot more complex and more in depth then Phoenix in terms of editing a model.

Yes, it comes at a price, can be quite ridiculous.

It doesnt really matter if the phoenix physics are not perfect, for someone learning to hover and fly it saves thousands in crash parts, thats where any sim is so valuable - muscle memory and hand/eye coordination.

                            knock knock...
