There's was 2 things I wanted to try now I've rebuilt my 600...First was the onboard tacho I got from Midland Helicopters that straps to the boom and counts the RPM of the blades.
The second was Tick-Tocks, which I've been practicing on the Sim.
In retrospect, what I shouldn't have done is try both things in the same flight...
Quite impressive really, the tacho was utterly destroyed. Found lots of fragments, even the PCB board had been ripped in halve.
Small chip in the gell coat on one of the blades, but the damage to the heli could have been a whole lot worse...
