The V22 is an amazing machine. I was fascinated by it when it was at Farnborough 2 years ago. In the "grand scheme of things", I am not really that sure where they are heading with it, and what it's commercial/military uses will be........

bail out quick, would not like to be a pilot ditching one of those with the huge blades swinging so close to the fuz!

Possibly they'd stay in forward flight configuration, tell everyone to bail out, and then climb to a higher altitude, then eject.

No chance of ditching in that config unless you stopped both engines, plus its probably got too high of a stall speed with those small wings, imagine how it would glide, it would probably be like a brick.

Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
