  • Horizon.....again

I know there of been countless posts praising Horizon Hobby that its getting boring, but nonetheless, I have another one.
I feel with the the service they provide they totally deserve the constant well done posts.

So I sent my AR6200 to HH for evaluation after a power failure mid flight.
This was sent Thursday afternoon so they would of recieved it Friday.
Saturday morning there is a knock at the door - It was the post lady

The report states that they could not find a fault but have supplied a new unit FOC for my peace of mind - They didnt even ask if it was in warranty or anything.

They also sent me a new PCB/ roller assembly for my DX6i as the switch had lost its click although it did still work - again FOC.

So thank you Horizon you have without doubt given me the best customer service of any company that I have ever dealt with - you rock.

Just wish Onkyo were as good with the customer support - unfortunately im gonna have to pay approx £100 repair on a £400 Amp which is one month out of waranty and is suffering from a common and well known fault. They have been totally inflexable

Needless to say I will not buy another Onkyo product but Horizon have got a customer for life and have another buyer for the DX8 when funds allow

I'll echo what has been said here, I also sent them my ar7100 Rx that I bought second hand of a member here, just to be sure it was the latest firmware on it before it goes in my N5, and it came back in a few days with a note to say it had passed all tests ok, and no charge for this!

Ripmax, you could learn a thing or 2 from HH! (I will not be buying another Futaba radio!)

Horizon just returned my AR 9000, repaired with two shiny new antennas.

At the same time, I got two satellites replaced, despite what might look like crash damage to the untrained eye (on closer examination: "signs of planetary interaction" )

I'm not a fan of any particular brand, but the customer support of Horizon UK is a pretty convincing reason to stick with Spektrum.

        BTW, they are fast.

That reminds me, I need to send in a faulty AR6200. It has cut out numerous times and other strange things. It's way out of warranty now but I emailed them and asked if they wanted to have a look and they said sure go ahead and send it in, so we will see. I am not expecting a freebie but curious to see what they say about it.
