How to break down CA?

Can anyone shed some light on how to get CA thats gone off hard to release please?

In the process of putting my engine back in the 600 and decided whilest its apart ill change the daft plastic hex bolt things that are in the fan shroud. Whats happened I took the advice of CAing into plastic and now I cant get one of the bloody things out.

You can buy stuff at Elite models than removes CA. Cant remember what its called though.

the stuff is called ca debonder. however it will most likely attack the plastic though

You can buy the De-Bonder at B and Q. The one I have is a loctite based product, this one is different, from Farnells but you can also get it on ebay

the stuff i have is called unstick by fivestar adhesives try here Unstick glue adhesive remover debonder 50ml for super glue superglue cyanoacrylate cyano etc

Cheers for the links lads. I got no transport at the mo, mrs down in London . Been wondering about trying boiling water? Is it worth a go or will it deform the shroud?

I don't think it will break the bond!

I don't know, leave you in the house alone and you get up to all sorts !
Seriously boiling water won't help debond CA, you want CA de-bonder.
I never use thin CA without a bottle of de-bonder to hand... yes I learned the hard way.

Do you have a girl freind\wife\ both that wear nail varnish and use nail varnish remover cos thats the same stuff almost!! Anything acatone based will do the job. BEAR.
