well i gave the boom a good smack this mornin and seems to have stood up quite well although i suppose your in real danger of ripping the boom off the side frames , so i'd agree that on the skids is poss the way to go , Although if theres one handy i would think a bush would be niceCheers Al

The Heli: Skids pointing down

Anyway...if all else is lost ..HIT HOLD as soon as possible to minimise damage
