the red heli swiss hirobo bell 47g2 hb-xae
                is mine

it placed 3rd in class and 5th overall
and has only done 25 hours of flying since it was rebuild in jan 2010 after a pivot bolt broke in the elevator bell cranks, causing an inverted auto/crash
this is a very good example of why you should strip a second hand heli down to every last nut and bolt, i didn't and paid the price

i was only 1 1/2 points off second place

                maybe next time?

                nigel's 47 was a nice heli but i think he's sold it

the other red bell 47 that can just about be seen on the second set of pics
is a vario bell 47gII with the drop in skyfox mechanics reg no G-DAVE
and my back up plan if the hirobo 47 for any reason couldn't fly

Another tweak for next year, there will be no flightline banners near the comp area, I never gave a thought to them obstructing spectators view of things, sorry guys. Like I said, this was a learning exercise!
