      HK450 build

It looks as though you've covered the list quite well. I built this heli about a month ago and found the bolts a bit 'poor' in quality - but to be fair they do send rather a lot of scews and bolts etc. and I found I only had to replace four or five of them. I stuck to those that were supplied - and tried to be careful not to overtighten. The heli flew without any major problems straight away - and I've been very happy with it. I have since fitted a Align EC135 fusalage - and it look and fly's great. (no 3d yet lol).

I had the benefit of knowing a couple of guys who fly the HK450 - so this did help.

Any good lock tight will be OK - but don't over do it.

There is a build thread link on Giantcod's website if you find you need it. Its specically for the plastic version - but it can be followed for the alloy versions as well. No instructions came with the heli!

      Best of luck and Enjoy.

            Tools & things

You need hex drivers for 1mm, 1.3mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm (in other words a small set). I also found a small long nose pair of pliers , and tweezers useful, and I often find use for a set of dentists tools!! The dentist tools can be found on Ebay very cheap. You will also need a couple of small size + head screwdrivers (two different sizes). For some of these bits and bob's I would recommend the 'Model Fixings' website.

The motor that I and a friend of my use is the Keda 450h -3200kv. Its very smooth running and is very reasonable from Giantcod (less than £10 I believe)
