  • After 100+ flights, it happened.

    I was practsing my inverted nose in when the wind caught it and I lost it. My Protos went inverted nose into the ground. Whoops. This is my second crash ever with my Protos which I think is pretty good going. I only wish I had it recorded as it was impressive. lol

    The damage so far is:

    Main blades.
    Skids.
    Tail servo holder.
    Main shaft.
    Flybar.
    Paddles.
    Head set rods.
    Boom.
    Spindle.
    Canopy which is just about in one piece.

    Approx cost £80. It had too happen as I have been pushing it recently.

    You get bitten in the end buddy, you always do but thats why we do it and then we come back for more. Shame about the smash but get it built and back up nose in.

      Well done on the inverted nose in....gutted about the crash. With whart i saw of your inverted skills you'll have it nailed in no time & in the wind.


      BTW is that you tumbling out the plane in your avitar??

        Inverted nose in - blimey I wish I could do that!

        Sorry to hear about the crash fella, no doubt you will have the protos back in the air in no time.

          Cheers Paddy, and yes that is me tumbling out of a plane. That photo is of me completing my AFF Skydiving course in Spain about a year and half ago.
