info on amps volts ect

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know a link or site where I can understand more about electronics ie battery size to esc , motor , regulator , how I can work out the amp to volts what will go with what I have a trex 600esc baterry is 5000mah 25c but seems to get rather hot I would like to understand more about this any advice would be great Paul
