I dont mean to hijack this thread but century-rc in HK are selling a brand new Trex700E with a flaybarless head for just £323!! If i was moving up to a 90 size i'd defo look into it.
It has no blades or electronics but thats still a cheap price.
And with all due respect 90% of 3D flying doesnt need power mad helis.
At the moment the fashion trend continues with loads going leccy but as we have seen before the trend will revert back again.
Just wait and see.
i'll give to christmas
then we'll see the 12s leccies up for sale

We'll see Tim
Yes power may not be everything but any HV Heli gives power on demand alot quicker than any Nitro ever will, i know as i have both a 700 E & N
Don't think we've see this one before as 12S E Heli have only come on the market this year really unless you changed a Nitro to a Leccy as i did.
Hope they do sell on soon there's two E Heli's that come out this year i'd like to own i may get some bargains
Maybe Ben will sell his 90E for £50
Whats really helping people is the cost of pack from HK over UK Prices
Even if you were to only 50 flight from your pack I'd say it would cost less long term over Nitro.
Just out of interest Tim have you flown a 12S 700E, if you have what didn't you like about it.
i've seen a 12s 700e fly
and i wasn't impressed with its performance
the motor was bogging all over the place , its the first leccy i've heard do it
i was expecting to see a ballistic missile
i have no idea what its set up was apart from being a std 700e fbl
the poor performance must have been down to the set up
i want to see one that realy motors

Yep set up is every thing and what motor and ESC you use, but to be fair it's the same for any Heli N or E
