I had an UP day today, I got into a real knot with my Raptor 30 about 15ft up and recovered it, how I dont know but i then went on to Piro 3 full rotations in a stall turn and a few rolls too so very pleased !

I feel like i'm movin on now,

Lookin at the posts this weekend there has been lots of Ups & Downs

Done my A test, had some good flights with the Velo as getting a lot more comfortable with it, and now looking for a new heli

Hey! Congrats on the A test. It's nice getting that done and dusted.

It was an UP week for me. I flew the Predator on Tuesday and the gyro was fine ('was only the gyro tape being loose before and nothing more serious) and the pipe didn't fall off I did a few autos with it and got it inverted a little bit. 'Took the Hirobo out Saturday and had a few flights, fiddled with the revlock and tried some different blades then today (Sunday) 'flew about 6 or 7 packs in the Trex 450, the tail behaving nicely through basic loops flips rolls etc. so I am pleased about that.

Up up and away for me, done 9 batts in my 450 for the 1st time yesterday

And with no crashes.

Down for me, smashed up my new 550e after only a handful of flights. It appears I don't have much luck with the big helis.

my bell 47 and sdx50 flew very well

and thought i had siezed the r22's engine but it turned out to be the oneway bearing in the electric starter jamming the engine up
but it auto'd once again without any issues
it's now back up and running with the pull start on it

i even flew the rcha draft A test with it before the engine stopped

Very up weekend for me- got a whole day at the club, flew 6 batteries on the 500 and 6 tanks on the 700, got my inverted fly pasts and rolls sorted on the 500, then truly bonded and formed a loving relationship with the 700, did a load of 1080 piros on the stall and inverted the 700 for the first time, flips into stalls and pyros- it started flowing- very happy chappy.

I also had an amazing demo of autos standing next to Chris J- I have no idea how he manages it- I was gob smacked as I watched roll outs, flip outs and blade stops- GIT

As you can tell, I had a good day.

Hope everyone else had fun too.

Yesturday was the first time I flew my 600 since I smashed it up a good few weeks ago. Had a good few flights UP till I had a hard landing and stripped a torque tube gear DOWN.
Also was hoping to get my avant in the air but I'm still having trouble with my us engine so that was a DOWN on an otherwise good weekend.

But the trex is all fixed ready for a session on wed after work
