The housings are quite a different shape.
would you like some 65 gear sets each of which have two teeth missing off the same gear to check if they fit? These are readily available from many hs65hb owners.
If they did fit, then the 65 metal ones would fit the 56 too, but they don't offer the 56 with metal gears.
Perhaps the 56hb karbonites are a bit thicker (or that one gear is thicker!) and they are a bit stronger.
I crashed several times before my 65 karbonites stripped teeth. Then I crashed and stripped two in one go.

thanks for the offer mate, but I can't be arsed to try and fit em lol!!
I just assumed that as the output horn fits, then the output gear at least should be the same...but who knows.....

As far as I know the gears arn't.
I know the replacement gears P/N for the 56 and 65 are different and the 65 has a very small gear by the motor which I don't think the 56 does.Raptor 50 V3 Titan
