  • dx7 mode change

hi guys, just wondering how easy it would be to change modes on a dx7, i hear its just a case of unscrewing the back, removing board, and switching the pots over, and possibly reutrn spring on cyclic, a bit fiddly, but sounds like it could be done, can it?? and has anybody done it?

would this make your insurance null and void with using a modded transmitter? and would horizon not invalidate the warranty if it ever got sent in?? id rather get the correct mode and keep the excellent backup service from h/h!

WOW im all for saving a few quid mi self.. but that looks like allot of work & a big risk to be taking just to save a few quid...

personally i think id opt for buying the right one first time & save risking knacking a new radio up..
