just my opinion on what I've seen.
There's nothing on the N5 that hasn't been done before, granted it flys well and is bullet prof. But it's certainly not my cup of tea, sorry :-(

Lol no prob mate, you'd be a brave man to dis an N5 on here.
Back on topic, A great way of gauging how good a heli is, is by reading all the different sub forums, you soon pick up what problems different helis have.
I spent a few evening reading about the Velo issues it had and weighed and the cost of parts, availability and watched a few build videos.
Soo glad I got the Velo :-)

Although it is not one of the contenders but for me it has to be the N5!!..It has to be one of the best heli's i have had, and especially one of the best 50 class machines!

Although it's not for everybody due to the extra cost of the kit etc, etc... it is more than worth it in my opinion!! even the belt drive tail has supprised me in how well it performs, don't even think i'll change over to Torque Tube when it get released as it perfoms that well!!

I've had a 600 and although it flew well, it never really seemed to track particularly well, got sloppy rather quickly and i never really got comfortable with it.

I've never flown a Vision or a Velocity, although they both seem to get equally good reports.

I like the N5.. and was going to get another 50 but I got one already.. I must say the N5 was on the top of my list but I actually dont like the canopy.. its much more "pelican" like compared to the big brother which is very nice.. So instead of changing the 600.. (as big spend coming up on the Srimok) I'm thinking about getting the Kasama head for her! As I hear of big improvements on the already good head, on the Synergys.. so it must be a massive difference on the 600!

Had the Kasama head and Cycloc fitted to my 600, There was a difference, not sure if it is worth the ££ though. Plus, try getting a feathering spindle for one
