  • First Piro's

Final had the correct motivation to try something new tonight. A few piro's in both direction's. Found out 2 thing's from tonight's flying, 1 I am not yet good enough for my A (there's a surprise), 2 Can pirouette in both direction's and not crash (THERE REALY IS A SURPRISE )
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

    And a DX8 too

Sesame, Wow, was that a 'Proper Manouver', if so .

Edder's, it's all your fault anyway

Mark, the shuttle just ate the manouver without even thinking, it realy does kick bottom

            I knew it would

My turn at the weekend hopefully. Got to get my mean machine into the air for a length of time rather than the odd hover.

            Cheers

                he can already do that
the only problem being the stoping and landing bit afterwards
Why is the ground to high

                      Well done again.

Had my Shuttle up at the weekend as a guest of 'The_Manager' (Steve) at the Haverhill flying club near Bury.

Great afternoon (still suffering from the sun/wind lash).

More importantly I finally had four flights with the said Heli and after a couple of tracking problems and too high a head speed had a very nice time hovering around.

"She fly's very well but I don't" would be the conclusion for the day.

Have forgotten an awful lot about nitro 30 flying but have got the bug again so hope to get it up again soon weather permitting.

Thanks to Steve and all the chaps at the Haverhill flying club and well done again Jamez

                      Cheers

                      Mark

PS. For the unbelievers, the CSM HL200 held the tail side on in a reasonably stong breeze perfectly fine without a hint of tail wobble

Mark, Head speed on the shuttle is a real issue, mine has always been to high, and trying to get it down is the fun part ( I still havent managed it completely, althoug colin n did give me alot of help). Your not far away from us lot are you, in Bury Street Edmunds, you will have to come and give us a look. Anyway I am now off up the field for a couple of tanks

Jamez do you have a heli orientated club up there in Ipswich or is it an all rounder, cos I wouldnt mind turning up at a Heli club to see what goes on and your not that far up the road for a quick spin on the bike.

I remember doing my first piro with a Scuttle - absolutely pooed my pants.

The next step is a double-piro, surely?

Well done, feels good doesn't it?
