canopy repairs

how do i repair and canopy???

it worn on the bottom canopy gromment, so i can screw in the screw in the canopy hole but it goes striaght thru. what do i do to repair it???
it wont be seen if thats any help lol

Bum some fine glass fibre matt from me.then either use the resin stuff (which I've run out of) or for small repairs 2-3 layers spread with epoxy works well .. put it on the inside with a good zone around the hole then use my body reamer to make a neat new hole when set. Reinforce the other holes while at it

You want glass mat and resin (or epoxy). P40 is a bit heavy duty for what you want to do.

I did two of my canopies last week with this:

Halfords | Fastglass Glass Fibre Kit (JNR)

It worked really well.

Cheapest way is to buy a self-adhesive hole..but they are hard to see

For somthing that size when I do a canopy I use a small circle of bog roll and some cyno on the inside, then filler over the top on the out side. There is really no point getting a repair kit as the stuff will go off before you use 1/10 of it on heli canopies.

ahh is not that sort of repair, its just the groment hole has worn thru on the canopy, gonna FB glass it and giv it a new hole tomoroow
