  • Stainburn Today

Had the pleasure of Brian Walsh (kamikazi) visit us today at Stainburn.

He brought his trusty barbecue and kettle along so we had bacon and sausage sarny's along with several cups of tea.

As for the flying, we had a ball with Brian flying both his flybarred and FBL 700 helis.

To say he hasnt flown since April he certainly put on a good show for us today, Flying was superb by all members with zero crashes.

I sunk 3/4 of a gallon in-between scoffing sarny's and it was superb.

Backwards inverted figure 8's fully sorted at low level then finishing with some 1000 foot auto's into the square.

    Awesome day guy's'

    Thanks for coming along.

    Tim and the guys,

Glad you had a great day. Trying to plan the next 'work' trip up to see you guys again. Hopefully it won't be too long

I had a ball flying today as well with 'Pedro'. It was a bit windy and lumpy but we made the most of it. Autos was the name of the game today. I nearly smashed my 700 to bits when my thumb slipped of the stick whilst low backwards inverted. Close shave

Respect to all you fliers that had a gooden
    Cheers Matt

                100% truth here.

I went to bed at 2.45am (yes bloody late) and heard those two buggers arguing over who was having the double bed..

Why they didnt share it beats me..

Firstly a big thankyou to Tim,Carl (Dedold) and Shaun for a great days flying over at Stainburn.

Tim, your flying gets better everytime I see you and so does your enthusiasm
Was great to fly again and the words of encouragement and having you there to talk some sense into me probably saved me a few quid in repairs mate.

Also thanks to Dedold for the B test demo, very impressive control and a budding Dave Fisher and Shaun for the flapjack takeaway (sorry Rob ) and the help on the grill.

It's always a pleasure to fly at Stainburn and thanks to the open invite I will come over there as often as I can.

                      Thanks Tim
