Raptor V1 pain in the ass!!!

Good god a V1 is such a pain in the ass, most bits that break in a crash (like feathering shaft) you cant get hold of! Luckily on this occasion i had found a set of 2 sent with a few other v1 spares from acwman last year! Now i have overcome another problem, i have noted last night about 4 links are knackered! Now i have to wait another month til i can get some links. I am determined to get this ass of a heli flying before the summer ends!!!

P.s the heli its self is lovely but its a pain lol!

I'm out of work atm, Gagging for a 500, typically when you have no money, there are loads of good deals to be had....

Guarantee when im back in work , there will be nothing. LOL.

Why not just save a few pennies and change the head block as well? then you can fit a V2 feather shaft problem solved.
Or maybe you should have a look around on the forum at some of the other recent post's, there's been one or two Rappy's totalled recently and maybe if you ask nicely via a PM someone would sell you a V2 head cheap.

Ive come to the conclusion that Sh*t happens! If you worry about the cost of crashing and such like then this is not the right hobby! Im not working now, and in the last week have had the 500 tail shear for a 2nd or 3rd time and I fixed one 450 and nose planted it last night! I have enough helis now to last me if one brakes and until I can afford spares. Lucky for me I have enough parts to get the 450 flying.

Ive got some 2nd hand parts to sale which should fund more spares should I need. Ive often thought of chucking it in, but my goal in a few years is to make a film from a heli for the sheer fun of it!
