  • Electrics advice please boys and girls

Right then , pay day is a mere hand full of days away and that can mean onlt one thing . Time to get a heli , so i think i will be taking Nick (Synergyn9) up on his very kind offer of his Trex 600 , (thank you everyone else ) so i'm going to be needing some electrics to go with . Obviously not having flown a heli for quite some time i'm going to be hammering to sim before a attempt to take to the air and when i feel my dangley bits have grown enough that i finally do i will be fitting training gear. So i'm after advice for servo combo's and gyro advice. I've seen that Fast-lads are doing a deal on Quark gyro and sero deals and think this will sort one of my problems unless anyone can advise me against and offer an aternative .
    Thanks in advance
    Al

Ps is there still a need to fit voltage regs for the tail servo of is this onlt applicable when flying electric? Sorry if these questions seem daft

To be honest you cannot go wrong with the align servos, DS610's on the cyclic, a 620 or 650 on the tail, a GP750/780 gyro and an align 2 in 1 reg.
MKS servos will also soon be avaliable in the uk, and some of the specs of them are mega, but maybe a bit too much for a starter when you consider getting you in the air
      Good luck and have fun

Bluegarry has a set of 8715's an 8900 for sale that are nearly new and a very good price for a set of top dog servos.

          Bls servos is my preference

thanks for the advice chaps , having had a look at the GP780 i see a lot of people complaing about tail wag when using it that they didn't have before, are they a bugger to set up or is it a simple case of incorrect set up ?
Spartan quark with BLS980 or Gp780 with DS650 or any other combo lol

I have a DS650 + Spartan 760. The servo is running <5.8v. This servo Runs quite warm.

The mks bls980 is what I want to try next.
