    ok guys

    I was just wondering if there are any partialy sighted or disabled heli pilots around as i only know one and that is me, I'm not being nosey I would just like to see how others like myself overcome there visual impairment or disablity when flying as I know how hard it can be sometimes.

    Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

      Not quite visual impairment...but ive got no depth preception which has slowed my progress abit. But I seem to have "trained" my brain around the problem now.

        i would not say over come but just pure poarctise i still have my moments (as club members would say) but seem to have cracked it so i can now enjoy flying. bright canopys help and nowing my limitations

          Hi I am a Girl and some people think thats a disability lmao

          seriously a disability shouldnt stop you happy flying & if you are ever in Telford PM me I will be your winggirl anytime !!!!

          Oh on a helpfull note I paint my canopy's a very bright pink and everyone comments that they are very visable, Hope that helps

                      As some on here that have run for cover when i fly know I only have one good eye and one that had to have the lens removed i now get by with a fixed focus on one eye and reasonable vision on the other but i manage just lol.
