is there a way to undo epoxy

iv epoxyed some threaded bar into the carbon tail control rods on my avant. put the threaded bar into the place it needed to be and left it to set. come back a few hours later and iv found on one carbon rod the threaded bar has come out around 10mm from where id positioned it and on the other bar one side has moved in a few mm. dunno how or why because it was on a flat table.

now what i want to know is can i use something to undo it

any help?

You should be able to heat the threaded rod with a soldering iron to melt the epoxy mate.

the reason they have moved is the air trapped inside the carbon rod has pushed the rods out.

try to get the the air out when gluing in place,a bit of a pain i now ,just work the rods in and out to get the air to escape.

would varnish remover work? iv heard it works on glue

Chemicals like Nitromors and other paint strippers could damage the resin holding your carbon rods together.

i thought of that but then i dont have much threaded bar into the carbon tube

Use heat (as Mark has said) - the epoxy will "smoke" and you can then easily remove the rods.
Make sure you clean the rods and the inside of the carbon tube thoroughly before re-glueing them

Point of note, in my build I did some measuring up and found that I needed about 45 to 46mm of threaded rod to get the length of the overall pushrod right. So about 23mm each side sticking out to thread the links (installed into the steel tubes) onto the ends.

For clarification, this is on my eAurora.
The rod length is different (slightly longer) on the eAurora due to the servo being in the rear of the frames.
The ball on the servo horn (on the eAurora) is not in the same position as the ball on on the intermediate bell crank of the nitro model, so the eAurora rod length is slightly longer.
