No led though but I can cope with that.

Hmmm, may of just fried my reg.

I use a perfect reg on this machine to give 6v to the 451's Paul. Then to the AR7100.

Yea, I was going to do do that then thought I may aswell just run them at 8v, even if I would prefer keeping them at 6v.

Just used the 'soft switch', works a treat

Ok cracked it. Get rid of the middle wire on the rx end and the light goes out. I'm not arsed about the light so it woks great now If you have an AR7100 this is a great mod

If you dont like the LED, why didnt you just save yourself a tenner and use the pin flag that comes with the Rx! Lol..

Didnt realise it had a soft switch until I saw this post and remembered the 'extra wires'. Its pretty cool too, just added the soft switch the Srimok.

I'm using this pin flag with the Gryphon Extreme Heli regulator. You can plug it together without wiring mods and the led is off until you pull the pin.

Nice mod though Tom :-)

Just fitted one these to my flightech 8A reg
great bit of kit,had to modify it to work ,by swapping the red and orange wires on the plug

works a treat apart from it doesn't light up BUT not bothered about that.
BTW this should work on the elyq reg as well as other reg switch's that fail open circuit
