  • Pushed myself tonight

Well, was at the flying field earlier, and what a night I had, still a newbie to the hobby, but can hover fairly steady, so started side in, then thought, I would put some of the Phoenix time into practice and try to attempt a circuit, and spent the following 4 packs trying the same, never completed one, but I was getting better.

I'm coming to realise with this hobby that you are never going to get anywhere if you don't push yourself!! I loved nearly every minute of it, a few scary moments, but somehow my thumbs did what they needed to do to get the heli stable again, before I even knew about it.

Came home with heli still in one piece and really chuffed with myself, considering it's maybe only my 15th lipo, and only been flying properly for 5 weeks or so every Friday, was a bit windy but it's all part of the fun,

    Loving it!!!!!!!!
    Kev

      Well done m8
I've also found the time spent on Phoenix has been invaluable to my flying. The most obvious being, I now find my control inputs are pretty much automatic rather than considered.
I have managed to get my heli into some pretty strange positions recently when trying new moves, but I now seem to be able to recover it without even thinking. Its only later that I think how did I get out of that And that's all down to Phoenix time

Good stuff, you are correct with the pushing yourself, small steps for me have paid off,i still cant go to the field with a new trick up my sleeve as the moment i have to think is the moment i become rabbit in the headlights

Keep it up as the rewards are there,in a few months you will be doing stuff you thought were never possible
