What balancer for my triton?

hi all - i'm looking for a balancer for my Triton charger. the charger is the original one that came out back in 2005/2006.
i can't seem to find one here in the uk.
the one that's recommended is this but only in the states it seems..

i only have the 450 so i wont need to balance anything higher than 3/4 cells

does anyone have any suggestions please?

Why not just buy a new balance charger ?

^^ hmm, i was gonna say i'd prefer to keep my charger but this looks good and almost the same price as a balancer. the reviews are good too.
is this charger well recommended then?
what types of battery can it charge?

The GT Power V5 will balance charge 2,3,4 and 5 cell lipos.
I use mine to charge my 3 cell lipos for my T Rex 450 and it works a treat.

Oh yeah, it also charges Nicad and Nimh as well.

How long does it take you to charge all the lipos you take to a flying session tiddler?
I've been looking at those Quattro chargers vs multiple single units for quicker charging sessions.

I used this unit from fastlad, charges 5 3s lipos either independently or at the same time- take just over an hour!!- used it a lot when I had 450 heli's, changes colour when charging is complete,,,

Its a combined charger/balancer,just plug into a 13.8 power supply and go !
Now up for sale,,,

how much are you selling it for?
how do you use that? do you use the balancing leads from the battery to plug to this charger?

You plug the lipos via the balance plug and the unit directly to the power supply,,,, the colour will change to say it's charging, this unit ONLY requires the lipo balance plug to be used- not the lipo power leads,,changes colour when charging is complete,,,, No more 450 heli's,hence it has to go,, How does £23 inc postage sound ???

^^ i only have a computer power supply - will this be enough. it says it's 12v and i have been using this with my triton.

I would check on the maxpro website but I'am pretty certain that if you tried to charge 5 at a time,your power supply would fail,,,, I use a Propeak/Ripmax 13.8 20amp power supply,,,,, Your unit would work but probably only for 1 or 2 at a time and if you increase the charge rate to the max may cause your supply to fail,,,,,,Post your power supply ratings and I'am pretty sure the experts on here can enlighten us both ...
