binding problem.

Ok guys never had this before...

Setting up an new heli and when it comes to binding it...I have this problem...


When i connect the esc by my 22.2 500 battery with the bind plug inserted i get a solid orange light on the rx....as in its not going into bind mode..

However when i connect a little battery pack i have for testing servos it goes into the binding process no problem..

huh????

I do realise i could connect the exteral rx pack and then bind and move on...but i just dont get that it wont binding whilst going throught the esc.

Any help would be much appreciated...

I reckon im missing something here,when i try a 5 cell it blinks.....wtf!!

I just read that it needs it satelite to work....Is that right???

what is the receiver, if it is an AR7000 then yes it does

Turns out the esc was caput...anyone on here can test them???
